Our client is a leading manufacturer of presentation / promotional products, point of sale and packaging based in the West Midlands. They currently have a vacancy for a flexible and multi-skilled Account Manager to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will be from a Presentation / Promotional Products / POS or Packaging background.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with customers over the phone on incoming calls, taking enquiries and dealing with customer queries
  • Making proactive calls to current customer lists and prospective customers
  • Provide estimates for projects / new products
  • Analyse and quote for specific requirements
  • Understand manufacturing processes to form the basis of the costings for quotes
  • Liaise with all areas of the business to utilise their expertise and knowledge
  • Sending quotations / estimates to clients
  • Following up quotes and enquiries to gain orders
  • Using Shuttleworth / Imprint MIS systems - previous experience is advantageous


Requirements:
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently manage and prioritise tasks
  • Capable of managing a heavy workload and work to deadlines
  • An ability to deal with problems promptly, fairly and consistently and be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done
  • Customer focused and works with others to prioritise and meet the needs of different customers
  • Excellent team work skills
  • Good degree of commercial awareness
  • Some estimating experience would be beneficial but not essential
