Our client is a successful Events and Exhibitions company based in the North West. With a turnover of £7 Million they offer a complete range of in-house services from design through to on-site project management and installation.

Reporting to the Sales Director the Sales Executive DB is responsible for delivering Design & Build (custom build stands) sales to achieve the company sales target. The role is based Manchester or Birmingham, however can involve extensive travel.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Consistently attaining and exceeding sales targets and revenues
  • Generating new business opportunities for D&B
  • Securing repeat business with existing clients for D&B
  • Driving the D&B sales activity including face to face and telephone enquiries
  • Account management - maintaining and developing key accounts
  • Measuring KPIs, ensuring achievement of same
  • Driving revenue forward and increasing growth where possible
  • Proactively contacting key clients at appropriate intervals to establish requirements
  • Preparation and analysis of management information
  • Taking part in relevant internal / external teleconferences/meetings as required
  • Attending regular review meetings with selected key clients where necessary

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proven experience of working in an exhibition / event management environment
  • Track record of successful sales delivery in previous roles
  • Client and sales delivery focused
  • Self-motivated and results driven
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Contract management and negotiation
  • Ability to continuously prioritise and work effectively under pressure
  • Knowledge of stakeholder service principles and practices in the exhibition industry
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
