Interim Pre-Press Manager
A leading printed packaging company which provides high-quality solutions to the food industry has an opportunity for a Pre-Press Manager to join their North West Print Operation on an interim basis.
This operational management role will lead all activities relating to the Pre-Press function within this renowned company’s Flexo Print Business Unit.
The Pre-Press Manager will provide dedicated key support to the Operations Manager and First Line Managers, and act as the main contact in terms of Plate, Tape, Rollers and Sleeves management.
Main Objective of this Pre-Press Manager role:
Leading the Print Business Unit in terms of Pre-Press activity, you will track and manage presses’ Zero Pull performance.
The role holder will be required to provide daily performance reports in production meetings and take action to improve.
The aim will be to reduce the number of pulls during change over, increasing he efficiency (Time and Waste) of each job change
The Pre-Press Manager must have P&L awareness and will, where possible, support the Print Operations Managers in driving down production costs for the Print Business Unit.
