Our client is seeking an ambitious and determined person to join their team with wide format print knowledge to generate new leads through contacts, cold calls and site visits. You will need to cultivate and build excellent business relationships with new clients by actively seeking out new business opportunities within the following sectors: Exhibition, Events, Interior and Retail and Construction.

Their success to date has been due to delivering good quality work at a fair price and going the extra mile, we have never had a salesperson it's just grown organically. They are now looking to expand their current client base, they have the premises, the equipment right up to a 3.2m dye sublimation printer, full in-house finishing capability and a great team. You will cover the whole of the UK, our client is are happy for the candidate to be based anywhere in the UK, working remotely as long as sales targets are met or exceeded.

The Role:

The role would suit someone that is enthusiastic, out-going, confident, hard-working and results driven. You will be responsible for identifying and targeting new clients, creating estimates and following up to ensure opportunities are converted. We already have a database and this will be a great help but it needs to grow further. Once converted there will be opportunities to project manage and ensure client's needs are fully met so as to continue to build our reputation with our clients. You will work closely with other team members who will ensure you have all of the necessary support to succeed.

You will need:
  • A proven track record in B2B sales
  • Ideally have experience within the print industry
  • Be a self-starter, used to working on own initiative to deliver real results
  • Have a Full UK driving license and own car
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Have a friendly personality who can quickly build relationships and gain customer confidence
  • A mature and enthusiastic telephone manner with strong skills
  • The ability to develop relationships with new contacts and project manage clients' requirements in a timely and organised fashion.

Day to day Responsibilities:

Seek out potential opportunities
Deliver against sales and margin targets
Develop and build account relationships
Build a high level of understanding of our competitors so we can work out how we can compete against them and win!
Carry out accurate and comprehensive site surveys to establish job scope and technical requirements
Upon project approval complete all job specifications with 100% accuracy liaising with our design team during the approval process
Ensure our CRM system is updated daily
Report to management via weekly sales briefings, business status and invoiced, confirmed and sales pipeline figures
Communicate any issues, roadblocks, learnings, so we get better!
Deal with the studio, production and installation teams to make sure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.
