About Anglia Ruskin University:
Anglia Ruskin is a vibrant workplace and our University is gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. We have ambitious plans for the future and we are determined that our students and staff will realise their full potential. Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education and one of the largest universities in the East of England.
About the role:
Based in our Print Centre on the Cambridge Campus, your priority will be providing leadership for the print room staff to deliver a high-quality campus printing service. You’ll play an important role in the further development of the print service as we focus it in a more commercial direction. You’ll also ensure our student-facing printing facilities on campus are operating effectively, liaising with our printer fleet supplier as required.
With a minimum of two A levels or vocational qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent, you’ll have demonstrable experience of working in a digital print environment, and the initiative and energy to be a change agent in the development of the print service. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications will be a benefit. Supervisory skills are desirable. You’ll need to be comfortable with change because no two days will be the same.
This is a 22.5 hours post, worked by arrangement over 5 days.
We offer an extensive range of benefits including a generous holiday entitlement, occupational pension schemes, training and development opportunities, travel to work scheme and a competitive relocation package.
