SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER - DIRECT MAIL / PRINT

Our client is a growing company providing fast turnaround direct mail and print solutions to hundreds of UK businesses. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Account Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities / Requirements:
  • Be a positive team member, even when under pressure.
  • They consider it vital, and part of the terms of employment, that the Senior Account Manager contributes as a positive part of the overall team.
  • To positively help promote and support the growth of the business (top line and bottom line) and help support a positive, pro-active, 'can do', team environment.
  • The support of your finance / operations & production colleagues is vital to consistent financial success & progression (for you and the business).
  • Support your Account Director, through assisting with the administration associated with your team's customer accounts, including but not limited to; quoting customers, booking jobs in, dealing with queries, following up on quotations to seek the order, keeping Salesforce accurate, and any other ad hoc duties and paperwork required by the Account Director or the company.
  • Produce quotations for existing customer campaigns projects as requested and follow up on, with a view to securing the business.
  • This will require the interpretation of customer instructions, including raising queries and full understanding of requirements.
  • Written job bags must be clear and accurate at all times.
  • Regular telephone contact with existing customers, to develop the spend, frequency of use and gross profitability for the company, under the guidance of the Account Director.
  • Pro-actively seek to gown the company's turnover & gross profits generated, through retention of your teams' customer base's monthly sales & gross profit % levels.
  • Endeavour to produce quotations and win orders in line with the companies agreed acceptable 'average' gross profit.
  • The average gross profit required across all customer jobs in your team (postage & services combined)
  • Regular telephone contact with existing customers, to develop the spend, frequency of use and gross profitability for the company, under the guidance of the Account Director.
  • Pro-actively seek to expand the company's turnover & gross profits generated, through retention of your teams customer base's monthly sales & gross profit % levels.
  • Assist your team in keeping the CRM Salesforce up to date with accurate contact details, account status, opportunity status and type, this may include setting live tasks for your colleagues.
  • Liaise closely with members of the campaign management & production team, to ensure that all the job information is correctly entered into the production database, ensuring that the correct & full information is being passed through to your production colleagues.
  • Ensuring that customer mailing deadlines and priorities are being realistically set (in line with their capacity) & met.
  • To conduct any other duties not mentioned above, as reasonably required by a director/s of the company.
