This is an international organisation with manufacturing plants across Europe. As a business, they specialise in the manufacture of a wide range of packaging disciplines from self adhesive labels through to rigid plastics.
After years of continued growth, the organisation are now investing heavily in new, UK based, manufacturing capabilities and as a result are now looking to diversify their market approach.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Setting and delivering a new sales strategy for the sale of Self Adhesive Labels across the UK food markets
- Building long term relationships by delivering a quality service
- Inheriting, managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients within the fresh food sector
- Covering a territory from the Midlands / North
Key attributes required:
- Demonstrable experience of selling printed labels in multiple food markets is a must
- A proven background successfully setting and delivering new sales strategy with the UK
- Interpersonal skills to consult and negotiate with blue chip clients
- Ability to create and build strong relationships
- Additional experience cross selling a wider packaging solution would be considered a strong advantage
