Our client is the UK office for an international Printing Company. With six state-of-the-art facilities abroad, the group is one of the world's largest manufacturers and printers of children's books and novelty paper products, including some of the most popular titles on the market today. In addition they print and supply high-quality, environmentally friendly packaging for a range of products from electronics through household appliances to cosmetics and luxury gifts.

They are currently looking to recruit an Account Executive, selling print and design services or products to target markets with focus on developing packaging and publishing expertise, to deliver profitable business in line with business plans and sales strategies.

Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Creative individual with a proactive approach and interest in collaborating with our customers in a wide range of product development
  • Working closely with publishing and packaging customers developing strong relationships and becoming their partner in the manufacture of their products
  • Ability to deliver against sales and marketing strategies
  • Responsible for delivering own budgets
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports and action plans
  • Knowledge and experience in a publishing, packaging or print related industry would be preferred
  • Ability to participate in Company's marketing activities as required
  • Capability of providing presentations both internally and externally to customers as required
  • Some travel in both UK and overseas
  • Have a service and team ethos - caring about people's experiences
  • Detail attentive and confident in multi-managing an array of customers and projects
  • Ability to prioritise tasks logically
  • High level of competence with business IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM systems (Pipedrive) and general web-based applications
  • Personal and friendly, capable of building relationships with a variety of people
  • Good listener - demonstrates understanding of situation and empathy
  • Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude - not easily phased, and happy to take initiative when required
  • Organised mind and methodical in their approach
  • Robust - can take setbacks and bounce back
  • Flexible on working hours when the need arises
  • Confident to represent the business well
  • Well presented
