ACCOUNT MANAGER - DIRECT MAIL

GREATER LONDON

£Open (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Excellent Working Environment + Flexibility to Work from Home (1 - 2 Days Per Week)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Our client is direct mail, fulfilment and data company based in London. They are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager to Manage a varied portfolio of existing customers to ensure they keep coming back for repeat business and are aware of all products and services offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Quote, book and manage DM & Portal campaigns from a range of existing clients including marketing, charity, transport, civil sector, estate agents, franchisees, and other SME's
  • Call existing and past clients on a regular basis to discuss their campaign requirements
  • Respond to inbound enquires from prospective clients, providing quotes in line with company prices
  • Work alongside three Key Account Managers and one other Internal Account Manager to provide booking and client management support
  • Working in partnership with colleagues and other internal teams
  • Reporting to Senior Key Account Manager
  • Deliver agreed annual KPI targets
  • Management of campaigns through development to completion and reporting
  • Must be familiar with general computer use and skilled enough for day to day use
  • Data systems and excel spreadsheets
  • Embrace the use of new systems; management information and online platforms
  • Work proactively
  • Build strong working relationship both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels internally and externally
  • Excellent telephone skills

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience 1-2 years Direct Mail sector, full training will be given
  • Must be familiar with general computer use and MI Systems and skilled enough for day-to-day use
  • Must be customer service focused with a good attention to detail
  • Work pro-actively
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • In-depth understanding of account management and customer service
  • Ability to work effectively with and manage team members
