Due to investment and company growth, we are looking for an Account Manager with 2+ years’ experience within the direct mail industry to join our team with the opportunity for career progression for exceptional performance.
This role requires significant experience in professional client relationship management and requires a full awareness of the customer journey processes and techniques in print, direct mail, transactional mail, and digital platforms.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Quoting, converting, and booking in direct mail fulfilment campaigns, whilst being always the key point of contact for the customer
- Responsible for managing the order from quotation to invoice
- Regular contact with existing customers to develop the spend, frequency of use and profitability for the company under the guidance of the Account Director
- Using own initiative to maximise the gross profit margin of all customer jobs
- Going the extra mile to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and retention
- Closely working with production colleagues to ensure job information is entered correctly and run smoothly to adhere to deadlines
- To assist within the client services department to offer support within the team
- Support your Account Director through assisting with the administration associated with your team’s customer accounts, including but not limited to, quoting customers, booking jobs in, dealing with queries, following up on quotations to seek the order, keeping Salesforce accurate and any other ad hoc duties and paperwork required
Skills Required:
- Direct Mail fulfilment and postage account management experience
- Sales or account management experience gained within the print management industry, including exposure to direct mail
- Knowledge of postal services and products across DSA and Royal Mail is desirable and knowledge with transactional customers would be an advantage
- Experience of Salesforce desirable but training will be given
- Microsoft Office Package: Excel, outlook, teams, word etc desirable
