Bid Manager | Cartons | Hybrid – North West | £40k - £50k

As Bid Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and presenting compelling proposals, contracts, and pricing solutions/estimates
• Determining expenses related to materials, labour, and production time for each job
• Proposing the most cost-efficient and effective production strategies ensuring estimates align with operational capabilities and scheduling plans
• Engaging with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms for materials and services
• Collaborating with the sales team to formulate competitive and profitable pricing structures
• Delivering outstanding client support to strengthen relationships and drive long-term business success

Key attributes required:

• Experience in cost estimation within the packaging industry, preferably in cartons
• In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends
• Proactive, self-driven, and results-focused, with a strong business mindset
• Skilled in estimating software and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
