UK Channel / Business Development Manager
To support a period of continued growth, TSC Printronix Auto ID is recruiting a UK Channel Development Manager. When you join, your arrival will complement the existing UK & Ireland team and add to the close knit, high performing regional group of sales and technical professionals.
As an established and focused sales professional you will be accustomed to managing day-to-day relationships with existing Resellers & Distribution partners, in addition find new customers to increase regional presence. You will be a motivated individual who values working for a business where immediate contributions can be made and long-term strategy planning abilities are critically important.
Your role challenge:
Reporting to our EMEA Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for increasing Thermal Printer and associated Options revenue in the UK. Working within our highly successful UK team uncovering new channel partners, the successful Candidate will drive existing install base upgrade and competitor trade outs within the Auto ID field.
Your role will include:
Contacting Auto ID resellers to target and gain a foothold into new customers.
Raising market awareness of both the TSC Auto ID and Printronix Auto ID brands.
Business development – hunter mentality.
Management of existing accounts as well those developed by yourself.
Assist your colleagues and customers to ensure that customers receive the renowned first-class level of TSC Auto ID service.
Approximately 50% of your time visiting customers.
A very small amount of overseas travel.
Internal and external stakeholder management – Quality communicator.
Highly experienced within the Auto ID field with emphasis on printing.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong project management skills, short and long sales cycles.
A professional style with the ability to open and build longstanding business relationships.
Proactive and a strategic thinker who understands the importance of customer satisfaction.
Customer-oriented team player.
Excellent time management and time allocation skills.
Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and interpret business needs to provide the customer the right solutions in at the right time.
Results driven with a high level of self-motivation.
Education and Background Experience:
PC, associated programs and the Microsoft Office Suite literate.
Demonstrable commercial creativity, with the ability to listen to customers and devise solutions.
Show how they have opened new accounts and developed their full potential.
Can show examples of good standard work and process.
Degree level preferred or relevant experience.
Have a demonstrable successful track record of sales within the Auto ID industry.
