Business Development Director | Protective Packaging & Systems | Midlands or South, UK | £60-70k basic, OTE £80k+

Our client is a prominent packaging supplier offering a comprehensive range of packaging solutions, including specialized protective packaging and advanced automation systems. With a strong presence in various industries, including aerospace and automotive, focuses on delivering custom, optimised, and efficient packaging solutions to meet diverse client needs.

You will be responsible for: 

• Developing sales strategies to expand market share within the aerospace and automotive sectors
• Pursuing new business opportunities for protective packaging 
• Building strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Offering tailored packaging solutions by understanding client needs
• Overseeing a variety of internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Key attributes required:

• Previous experience in business development and sales within the packaging industry to a high level
• Knowledge of the aerospace and automotive sectors
• Provable understanding of protective packaging solutions and systems
• Communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a results-oriented approach
• Excellent people management skills to oversee large projects across internal teams
