Our client is part of the UK's largest leading packaging groups, a leading premium packaging solutions provider, dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable packaging solutions to their clients. Our client offers an extensive product range, manufactured in house (Litholam, Bespoke Corrugated Packaging, Printed Folded Cartons, Rigid Boxes, Luxury Packaging with full Foiling, Lamination etc).

Our client is currently looking to recruit a dynamic and results driven Business Development Executive to join their team and capitalise on growth from new, existing and inter group customers. You will be playing an important role in their strategic growth being motivated with a proven track record in consultive sales, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering award winning packaging and display solutions to clients. The role will focus on new business however you will be passed some accounts and there is a vast amount of incoming enquires, lapsed accounts and existing account which need to be maximised.

As our clients product range is vast; from a corrugated box to the most creative rigid box our client will consider candidates who have a background in any of their product range and full product training will be provided

Our client has a superb internal sales and design team in place to support the appointed Business Development Executive. Our client is happy to consider a junior level or experience level candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and growth
  • Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities, prospects and long term targets
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Expand client base by actively prospecting and generating new leads
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and trends in the packaging and display industries
  • Maintain a deep understanding of all products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients and cross sell within their other business units
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Collaborate with the internal team and wider group operations to ensure seamless project implementation and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities
  • Represent the company at corporate meetings, trade shows and industry events
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market insights

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an external sales role working with value added products
  • Experience within the packaging, print industry is desirable although not essential
  • Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Full and Clean Driving Licence
  • Business level IT literacy
