£ Open (Depending on Experience) + Pension + Occasion Breakfasts + Birthday Off + Parking + Car Allowance or Company Car (TBD) + Commission

Our client is a growing print and signage company based in South Wales. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive or more of an experienced Business Development Manager. The role will be a mix of New Business and managing Existing Accounts (with a focus on new)

The role will require an individual with a Sales background preferable within Signs and Graphics (although for the BDE role it is not essential) and driving licence. The client would like someone based within a commutable distance of their offices in Glamorgan however the role will be split from the office and out visiting customers.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching, and recommending new opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers/prospects in person, via telephone calls and emails.
  • Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Resolving queries or complaints and escalating where necessary.
  • Upselling products and services and negotiating with clients to secure the business.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to fulfil client's orders & requests.
  • Conducting market research to identify new business development opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining solid client relationships by regularly following up on clients.
  • Consistently reach targets set out by the Sales Director, reporting back activity and WIP.
  • Coordinating and arrange client's events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.
  • To act as the first point of contact for in-bound sales enquiries, providing quotes and processing orders.
  • Developing solid sales proposals to convince potential and existing clients to purchase company products and services.
  • Liaise with suppliers to provide costs for ongoing enquiries.
  • Researching competitors' products, pricing, and product success to determine customer preferences.
