Business Development Manager | Cartons | North West | Up to £55k 

 

This organisation is a market leader within the carton market, selling into a number of blue chip clients across the UK. With a big focus on FMCG, food and cosmetic markets they are continuously growing year on year. The business is going through an extremely exciting period with a lot of investment and new acquisitions taking place. This includes huge investment into a new site which has increased the capacity and capabilities of the business.

 

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and winning new business across the UK
  • Working strategically to identify new business opportunities and growth within existing business
  • Forecasting, budgeting and reporting
  • Being a key part of new product development and product launches
  • Attending client visits, building long lasting relationships with key decision makers

 

Key attributes required:

  • Experience selling within the food, beverage or consumer goods markets
  • Background working within either the cartons, corrugated or flexible packaging industry
  • Proven track record of sourcing and winning new business within the packaging sectors
  • Able to confidently deal with client needs, using strong technical understanding to offer solutions to clients
