SALARY GUIDE: UP TO £60K BASIC (DOE) + Car or Car Allowance + Commission + Pension

Our client is a manufacturer of bespoke printed folded cartons servicing some of the UK's best-known companies and leading brands. Our client is renowned for their high levels of quality and service and is genuinely an excellent business to work for.

Our client is looking for a Business Development / Account Manager to join their team. The role will be approx. 75% New Business & 25% Account Management, you will keep and manage accounts that you win. Although you will cross / upsell the client's other products you will be predominantly selling Cartons - so experience is essential.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • To achieve all budgeted targets on sales territory by managing the business and relationships with existing customers, monitoring order levels and maximising new business opportunities with these customers
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers
  • Identify new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers maximising potential within each account
  • Arranging client visits
  • Presenting to clients at all levels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team as well as individually
  • Successfully manage your own accounts
  • Provide excellent customer service
