The person we seek will have unrivalled experience in this industry, and an ability to understand what each client wants to achieve, suggesting effective ways of doing a job; striving to exceed expectations and take pride in the finished product delivered by the collective team.

Our client thinks a successful salesperson will show great empathy with each client, particularly due to the nature of this sector – a good listener who can understand the clients’ businesses, problems and goals, to sell them solutions, quick-wins and long-term strategies – overall developing new and existing business, maximise sales and client retention.

What will your new role involve?

  • Pro-active and regular client contact, with meetings to be undertaken via the phone, e-mail, virtually, or face-to-face, as appropriate.
  • Upselling and cross selling to new and existing clients by presenting new product lines and service revenue streams.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth by preparing and conducting structured client business reviews.
  • Negotiating client pricing.
  • Developing new business opportunities in line with sales strategy.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Creating and delivering bespoke client and prospect presentations.
  • Maintaining accurate records using CRM system.
  • Attending trade exhibitions and conferences, if required.
  • Collaborating with team members.

The client is open to someone from any specialism of print / packaging / paper, and even outside of these sectors too.  The key is having contacts within the charity sector. If at least 70% of your current sales involvement is with charities, this would still be acceptable to apply.
