Business Development Manager | Finishing Capital Equipment | South East | £45k - £55k + OTE £70k+

One of the UK’s largest independently owned packaging manufacturers who pride themselves on their service, quality and integrity. This company is renowned for the high quality solutions they provide to their clients, continuously exceeding their expectations.

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

• Seeking, identifying and securing new profitable business opportunities
• Setting and delivering a new sales strategies
• Selling a full range of equipment and consumables into the industry
• Visiting clients and attending meetings across the UK
• Consultative approach to selling and managing long sales cycles

Key attributes required:

• Knowledge of the packaging industry and markets
• Proven experience of selling finishing equipment and consumables into the printing and packaging industry
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Interpersonal skills to negotiate cost with clients and secure new business
• Drive and ambition to succeed and excel as a Business Development Manager
