Business Development Manager | Flexible Packaging | UK - remote working | £40k - £50k plus commission

This organisation has been one of the leading manufacturers of flexible packaging in Europe for 30 years. The organisation growth has been firmly rooted in its continuous programme of investment in its people, strategy and technology. Covering multiple sectors but with an emphasis on growth within the food sector.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Inheriting and growing a lucrative portfolio of accounts
• Sourcing and winning new business within the flexible food market
• Setting and delivering new sales strategies
• Working closely with clients, establishing and developing relationships
• Liaising with various internal departments
• Travelling across the UK to attend client meetings

Key attributes required:

• Must have a good understanding of flexible packaging and film
• Experience selling packaging solutions
• A thorough understanding of the manufacturing process is desirable
• Exceptional project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Forward thinking, looking to create exciting new business opportunities
• Confidence to communicate with key client stakeholders and exceed  expectations
