Business Development Manager | Glass | UK | £45k - £50k basic

 

A leading global hybrid packaging supplier, offering a comprehensive range of glass, plastic, and metal containers, as well as closures and dispensing systems. Significant and growing presence in Europe, including Italy.

 

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Cultivating and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients in the cosmetics sector, becoming a trusted partner for their glass packaging needs
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the cosmetics, health, beauty and the pharmaceuticals industry,
  • Collaborating closely with our production and design teams to develop bespoke glass packaging solutions that align with cosmetic product aesthetics and functional requirements
  • Promoting an extensive range of glass containers and finishes relevant to the cosmetics market, highlighting design possibilities and material benefits
  • Achieving and surpassing revenue targets through a consultative sales approach, emphasizing the value and impact of our glass packaging on cosmetic brands

 

Key attributes required:

  • Confident communicator with a natural flair for relationship building, capable of engaging effectively with clients in the cosmetics sector
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within packaging, materials, or creative solutions for the beauty or personal care industries
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with a proactive approach to prospecting for new opportunities within the cosmetics glass market
  • Organised and detail-focused, adept at managing multiple client projects and timelines related to glass packaging development and delivery
  • Creative thinker with an understanding of how glass packaging can enhance cosmetic product appeal and brand identity
