Business Development Manager | Glass, Wines & Spirits | UK | Salary up to £55k OTE £65k  

A leading supplier of glass, plastic, metal containers and closures. Operating for over 100 years in the packaging arena, this company offers its employees a wealth of well established commercial networks and internal support. Supplying a variety of markets including Beverage, Food, Personal Care, Home Fragrance, Industrial and Beauty. 

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and  winning new business 
  • Setting and delivering new sales strategies 
  • Liaising with internal colleagues and technical teams to deliver innovative solutions
  • Managing and developing new and some existing accounts
  • Operating with the highest level of customer service 

Key attributes required:

  • Experience within the packaging sector
  • Preferable knowledge of the glass market
  • Drive and ambition to win new business
  • Self starter, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional customer relationship building skills
