Business Development Manager | Heavy Duty Corrugated Packaging | South UK - Hybrid | Up to £55k plus commission

 

Corrugated manufacturer specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of heavy-duty protective packaging solutions. Their mission is to provide innovative, sustainable, and robust packaging options that meet the diverse needs of our clients across various industries including industrial, automotive, medical and construction to name a few.

 

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and developing new business selling corrugated packaging predominantly to the industrial sector
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to promote heavy-duty protective packaging solutions to prospective clients across markets
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs and proposing customized solutions
  • Working closely with the product development team to identify trends, develop new products, and enhance existing offerings
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, offering insights into customer needs and potential for growth

 

Key attributes required:

  • Proven track record of packaging business development
  • Strong understanding of heavy-duty packaging solutions
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders
  • The ability to forecast and compile sales reports
