Business Development Manager | Heavy Duty Protective Packaging | South West | Up to £50k plus commission

 

Specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of heavy-duty protective packaging solutions. Their mission is to provide innovative, sustainable, and robust packaging options that meet the diverse needs of our clients across various industries including industrial, automotive, medical and construction to name a few.

 

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and developing new business selling a range of packaging solutions including heavy duty plastic solutions; foam solutions; cardboard solutions, HFBP and Euro containers
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to promote heavy-duty protective packaging solutions to prospective clients across markets
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs and proposing customized solutions
  • Working closely with the product development team to identify trends, develop new products, and enhance existing offerings
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, offering insights into customer needs and potential for growth

 

Key attributes required:

  • Proven track record of business development or sales, preferably within the protective packaging industry or plastic packaging sectors
  • Strong understanding of heavy-duty packaging solutions, including technical specifications, market demands, and sustainability practices
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders
  • The ability to forecast and compile sales reports
  • The desire to work in a highly collaborative family feel team!
