My client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality polythene film products providing their clients with a range of Shrink & None Shrink, Polythene Film, Sheeting, Dolav Liners, Furniture, Pallet Wrap and Mattress Covers. With decades of experience, they pride themselves on innovative approach, commitment to sustainability, and customer-centric service. Their team is dedicated to delivering bespoke solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients across various industries.

They are now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to cover the North East and Scotland region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing accounts, and developing strong relationships with key decision-makers. This is a crucial role that will contribute significantly to business growth in the region.

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships
  • Positive attitude / problem solver with ability to rise to a challenge
  • Responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the delivery of high-quality polythene packaging solutions tailored to specific client needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the North East and Scotland.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships by understanding their unique packaging requirements and offering personalised solutions.
  • Advising clients on the companies range of products, such as pallet covers, heat-shrink films, and high-performance packaging, to match their needs.
  • Addressing any customer concerns and ensuring smooth delivery of services to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • This role emphasises both sales and operational oversight in a client-focused environment.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar role within the packaging, manufacturing, or related industries.
