BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / HERTFORDSHIRE / BEDFORDSHIRE / BERKSHIRE / NORTH LONDON AREAS

£35-50K (Depending on Experience) + 8% Commission on all New Business (Revenue) - after 12 months this becomes a House Account which you will get 4% on for as long as the company has the account. + Additional Commission if you hit certain thresh holds + Car Allowance

Our client is a leading Large Format, Display and Graphics company based in the South East, they are seeking a dynamic and motivated person to join their team in the vibrant event, exhibition / construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent service and enjoys rolling up their sleeves, whilst having the ability to take a step back and help nurture the next generation.

Our client has an extensive in-house plant list, supported by dedicated production, account, and project management teams. This setup ensures seamless project execution, from initial planning through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions for events.
  • Actively generate leads and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Present the company services and products effectively, showcasing how they can enhance client events.
  • Covering the UK and Europe
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that resonate with potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the database.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, must be within the events / exhibition sector or construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build rapport.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all client needs are met.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
