COATING / REWINDING MACHINE OPERATOR

Early & late shifts: 6am-2pm /12pm-8pm

Our client offers packaging solutions to a wide range of major food producers and industrial companies across the UK and Europe. The Coating Machine/Rewinder Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the coating machine or rewinder machine to produce print on linerless label rolls.

Previous experience running linerless coating machines is preferred but time served Machine Operators in other related areas of manufacturing or warehousing would also be considered. This hands-on position thrives in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Coating Machinery in a safe working manner in line with all company best practices and procedures as required to ensure production targets are met.
  • Organise systems to ensure all jobs for print shift are ready.
  • Follow instructions and complete within a given timeline.
  • Manage Silicone/Adhesive consistency during set up and operation.
  • Ensure daily schedules are met.
  • Complete documentation for traceability and BRC.
  • Daily maintenance and care of machinery and working area to ensure that it is kept clean.
