CORRUGATED PACKAGING DESIGNER

SALARY GUIDE: £25-35K- this is flexible for the right candidate

Hours - 40 hours per week

Our client is an industry leading Corrugated Sheet Plant and Packaging materials supplier, they provide a full packaging solution to a variety of markets throughout the UK, the company specialise in bespoke corrugated packaging however they also supply a full range of consumables.

They are currently looking for a Corrugated Packaging Designer to work independently, ideally with experience of Corrugated Packaging

Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Experienced in 'Kasemake' software and CAPE software would be preferable
• Working with a directory and database - PC literate
• Experience using a CAD table/plotter also called a sample table
• Making samples, creating ideas for POS, standard cases, protective and promotional packaging
• Design to reduce cost and streamlining - on customer requests
• Visiting customers when required
• Dealing with tooling suppliers
• Some graphic design capability needed
