A world leading packaging company that promotes sustainable development through innovative solutions is looking for a talented business development manager to lead and inspire a team of 4. This is a hands-on opportunity within a company which provides a supportive environment and an entrepreneurial culture. They need a driven senior salesperson who will navigate the team to success selling packaging into the pharmaceutical sector.  

This "player-coach" will design and implement the strategic sales plan to expand our client’s customer base and ensure its strong presence. Alongside this, this will be to actively manage the sales team with a focus on developing talent, setting objectives, coaching, monitoring performance and driving them to exceed sales goals.

This role requires candidates with a demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation, internally and externally. We are looking for someone with a strong business sense and who has proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

Dynamic, energetic and passionate about the work you do, you will be eager to bring fresh ideas to the table and improve company turnover. Coming from a background in packaging with successful experience as a senior sales representative or sales manager, you will be able to offer invaluable advice to both your team and prospective clients.
