£Competitive basic salary / Negotiable based on experience + Pension + 25 Days Holidays (+ Bank Holidays)

Our Client is a market leader in digital packaging and due to continued growth, they are looking for a "Customer Service Representative" to join the fast moving Customer Service team.

The main purpose of the role is to translate enquiries / orders from customers into the internal systems and provide data and documentation to facilitate production and delivery of goods to customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Working to their BRC IoP ISO9001 and 14001 procedures you will be the single point of contact for a selected group of digital print customers.
  • Reporting to the Scheduling & Customer Service Manager.
  • Maintain the customer relationship by direct contact with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain Personnel.
  • Receive, agree, and process customer orders.
  • Deal with enquiries and create estimates for new / existing customers.
  • Create artwork briefs and manage through the approval stages.
  • Understand and Manage version control of products and artworks.
  • Process sales orders within the MIS system to generate job tickets and dispatch instructions.
  • Maintaining and updating the MIS system - customer database and product specification.
  • Communicate with internal departments.
  • Capture customer feedback.
  • General administrative and filing duties.
  • Process Invoices within the MIS system.
  • Have accurate and timely record keeping.
  • From time to time, you may be asked to work in different areas of the business if there is a requirement.

Skills:

  • Personal; Must be positive and pro-active, able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities in prioritising your tasks within a teamworking environment.
  • Technical; To have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Experience of working with a fully integrated MIS system would be an advantage but, not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
  • Practical; Must be highly numerate and have an aptitude for learning and be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of digital print and finishing processes, substrates, adhesive and basic knowledge of reprographics would be an advantage.
