With continual investment and growth, we are pleased to create an new additional role of HP Indigo Operator to join our Digital Labels Team as we expand further supplying our wonderful customers with great looking, award winning labels.

Job Role:

Reporting into the Digital Supervisor, your role as HP Indigo Operator is to ensure the efficient production of a WS6800 Indigo, producing high quality labels to exact standards and ensuring daily deadlines are met. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in Digital Printing, although full training would be considered for the right candidate.

Working in collaboration with the whole company, this role requires the ability to deliver a high standard of work in a fast-paced production environment on a consistent basis. Your main task involves ensuring the consistent production and finishing of Digital self-adhesive labels. Commitment is paramount for this role in ensuring we achieve the exacting requirements of our growing customer base.

To be able to work in a team environment but also under your own initiative is essential as well as the ability to think on your feet and be self-motivated to drive improvement and positive change. The ability to identify solutions quickly and effectively and be customer centric is essential.

Daily responsibilities, include but not limited to –

· Full responsibility for the successful printing of Digital Labels within a deadline

· Achieve required Production Efficiencies as set out by the Department

· Housekeeping and maintenance of a HP Indigo Label Press

· Supporting and achieving production KPI’s throughout Department

· Colour Management and Technology

· Creating and supporting company growth

The role is a full-time permanent position working on site with a competitive salary dependent on previous experience, competence & performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

· GCSE C Grade Maths & English.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal & written.

· Flexible approach and able to use own initiative when required.

· Attention to detail and maintain a high standard of print quality.

· Technically and mechanically minded.

· Machine setting and problem solving

· Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict delivery deadlines.

· Target & client driven.

· Willingness to learn and develop new skills

· Pro-active approach to identifying problems

· Positive “Can Do” attitude

· Experience within a print production environment is desired but full training will be considered for the right candidate.
