Digital Print Operator

About the job

Working as a part of our digital print team you will be responsible for the operation of multiple lines. 

Doming: To setup and operate the polyurethane resin doming line effectively, training and the safety precautions necessary, to clean the line for the next use. 

Digital Printers: This includes loading jobs to the printer via rip software, checking what’s printing against a job sheet, keeping an eye on the print for quality checks and colour matching. 

• Operating a resin Doming line
• Operating an Epson Surepress & GM label converter. 
• Operating the guillotine to cut card.
• Must have the ability to work to a high degree of accuracy in colour, documentation, and procedures
• Working to tight deadlines
• Responsible for performing basic maintenance, working safely, and performing machine Health & Safety checks
• Responsible for ensuring that their area, equipment, and machinery are kept clean and tidy and in accordance with the relevant procedures during shift.
• Working closely with our design & pre-press teams when it comes to solving queries about jobs
• Assist with jobs across all of The Sweet Peoples sites when normal responsibilities are quiet. 
• Responsible for waste toner collection, stock checking and ordering, with an agreed stock low level.
