Hours: 8.30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday

Our client operates its own in-house print and wide format manufacturing facility alongside one of the largest design studios in the North of England. Clients include a range of nightclubs, pubs & restaurant chains amongst other leisure & drink industry clients. More recently they have seen success in new sectors such as pharmaceutical, convenience store chains and Building. The Business also has a well-established Education Division, designing and manufacturing Bespoke Exercise Books alongside other educational material.

They are currently looking to recruit a Dispatch and Warehouse Manager to join their team. As a growing business you will be part of a dedicated team giving exceptional service to clients

Duties will include, but are not limited to: -

  • Proactive liaison with the Production Team to understand timings for job & campaign completion to organise efficient on time dispatch for all goods.
  • Co-ordinate transport routes for the companies own vehicles (collections & deliveries)
  • Create and keep records of accurate Delivery Notes to clients and suppliers using the in-house MIS system
  • Liaise with Courier Companies to ensure collections are managed and on time each day - and they are aware of high-volume periods to ensure the correct transport is allocated to us.
  • Create accurate Courier Consignment Labels using Online Courier management systems and ensure affixed to correct parcels - ensuring adequate information is used for us to identify what the Jobs are.
  • Provide Tracking and Proof of delivery information when required.
  • Work with specific delivery destinations such as Royal Mail Door Drop Centres & Mailing Houses to ensure we are adhering to packing & delivery spec requirements and deliveries are booked in.
  • Oversee the Warehouse - which includes paper store & client owned merchandise.
  • Support with Pick and Pack orders
  • Keep Stock Counts accurate and checked regularly to ensure no discrepancies.
  • Support other departments when needed
  • Good House Keeping - tidy space
  • Seeking to improve processes where possible and support with the progression of the Business.
  • Ensure any purchased goods are checked and any discrepancies reported.
  • Keep records up to date on MIS System
  • Cost saving where possible
  • Problem solving & supporting with complaints
  • Maintain vehicle check logs (vans & FLT)
  • Uphold and support H&S Policy within the Business
