About the job

Additional estimator required to join our estimating department supporting our existing estimator. Experience in book production, folding, wiro binding, section sewing, mailing and general print finishing would be beneficial but not essential.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, which will be utilised when liaising with both internal and external contacts – updating customer, fellow account managers and the production team. You will speak with clients both on the telephone and in person. 

Listening to customers and asking questions to create a better understanding of their needs will be key to this role. You must have a strong understanding of the printing industry and post press, to be able to work with customers and suggest solutions from our client’s product range.

The role will predominantly entail putting together quotes for customers, both large and small bespoke projects, and following up these quotes at a suitable time.
 

We are looking for someone who is efficient and with excellent time management skills, capable of processing quotes in a timely manner.

Applicants must also have good computer skills, numeracy skills, and proficient in a print industry related MIS system.
