FABRICATION MANAGER - SIGNAGE                                          

WARWICKSHIRE 

£Open (depending on experience) 

Our client is a successful Signage and Graphics company based in the West Midlands, they are looking to recruit a Fabrication Manager to help set up and grow an inhouse Fabrication department. 

Knowledge / experience:

• Experienced in signage industry. 
• Skilled/semi-skilled in use of MIG/TIG welding
• Press Break operation 
• Use of Guillotine
• Sheet Metal Fabrication
• Aware of H&S practices

Responsibilities   

• Growing a team and running the department on the production floor
• Working closely alongside the Managing Director on various projects
• Overseeing the team on a day to day basis
• Scheduling and allocating work
• Ensuring all jobs are produced on time, to a high-quality standard and meet the client’s requirements
• Enthusiastic and able to motivate the team
• Ensure production is cost effective
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety guidelines
• Assisting in various departments and with any production tasks as and when required
• Previous experience working within the signage and manufacturing industry is essential
• Previous working knowledge on various machines such break press, guillotine and CNC routers would be beneficial
• Able to absorb and recall job and project details
• High level of attention to detail
• Flexible and willing to work overtime as and when required
