Are you a skilled electrical engineer looking for a field-based role with variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery across the UK?


 We’re working with a UK market leader in the supply and servicing of high-end finishing, converting, and packaging machinery. As they continue to expand their technical service team, they’re looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias to install, maintain, and repair specialist equipment across their customer base.


 The Role:


 You’ll be responsible for:

- Delivering high-quality onsite service, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Installing and commissioning digital and finishing equipment
- Troubleshooting electrical faults – including work with PLCs, inverters, and software upgrades
- Supporting machinery off-loading and positioning, ensuring installations meet technical standards
- Providing customer training and clear service reporting
 - Acting as an ambassador for the business on every client site

 

About You:

- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (or experience based equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certified
- Previous experience servicing electro-mechanical systems or machinery
- Strong fault-finding skills and knowledge of PLC systems
 - UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally (with occasional overseas work)
