FINISHER / ZUND OPERATOR - LARGE FORMAT PRINT

WEST YORKSHIRE

£Open (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 8:30am to 5:30pm & Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm

Our client is a leading graphics, signage and large format print company, they have won awards for the manufacturer of their display and graphics, offering a superb range of point of sale, graphics, indoor and outdoor signage, posters and exhibition stands.

They are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Print Finisher / Zund Operator to join their production department who is looking to grow with a successful company.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Experienced in using Zund CNC Machine
  • Experienced in using laminators/Print Finishing
  • You will be expected to work with and support both the Assistant Production Manager and your team at all times.
  • Manage and control your workflow with the aid of our schedule from the final printing stage to dispatch. Our customers demand speed and only the best, you will be working consistently to very tight and changing deadlines, which must always be adhered to.
  • Required to have each finished job checked on completion.
  • Responsibility of checking every job on your completion and signing off on each job sheet.
  • As you are experienced in all areas of finishing, you will be called upon to fill most roles as required from mounting, lamination, cutting and finishing.
  • No job is complete until packed ready for dispatch and signed off.
  • Manage stock control and liaising with the Assistant Production Manager for the ordering of requirements.
  • Responsible for the checking any deliveries against delivery notes and the tying up of such on a regular basis to maintain a controlled purchasing procedure.
  • Advise on the need for maintenance of your machines, to ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times and that general good house keeping is maintained.
  • Your role is a varied and ever expanding one, changes will be required as the company expands and your willingness to adapt to new practices will be necessary.
