A well established business that uses leading lithographic and digital technology is looking for an experienced Finisher to join its team of print experts. Their high-tech equipment runs 24 hours a day, allowing the team to achieve the most urgent deadlines when required to consistently meet the needs of clients.

Candidates must have experience of at least one of the following: Guillotines, Folders, Die cutting, Stitching, Perfect Binding, Envelope inserting. The role will be based on a weekday daytime pattern.

Joining a facility that houses an extensive range of finishing capabilities to enable full quality control of the production process, your responsibilities will include:

 

•              Working to strict quality procedures

•              Understanding and working to target driven Key Performance Indicators

•              Liaising with the production team to ensure finished work is ready for the next process

•              Using own initiative to ensure smooth running within the finishing department

•              Taking a proactive approach to work processes, identifying areas of improvement when necessary to enhance the efficiency within the department

 

Candidates applying for this role must have strong communication skills  – an ability to liaise with and communicate instructions and requirements within the production team to maximum machine efficiency. You must also show great attention to detail – complete work without the need for supervision and to deadlines, striving for highest standards.
