FLEXO / LABEL PRINTER WEST YORKSHIRE

Up to £34K + Pension + Death In Service Benefit + 30 days Holidays (incl. bank hols) + Optional Overtime

Rotating 3 Shift System (10-6, 6-2. 2-10 Sunday night to Friday on a weekly rotation)

Our Client is quality focused leader and innovator in the self-adhesive label industry for Branded Goods and Pharmaceutical/Healthcare markets.

They currently require a Flexographic Printer to operate a 10 colour UV & waterbased flexo presses.

Duties include operating and tending to machines, preparing products for delivery and storage, handling and moving materials to produce a smooth workflow, and inspecting equipment to ensure safe operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily productivity responsibility ensuring that individual schedule and targets set are achieved.
  • Ensuring that jobs are produced to the highest quality level and that the quality procedures are followed.
  • Responsibility for cleanliness and general maintenance of equipment used in the process.
  • You are required to relay information through the Specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.
  • You will be working with the Production Manager to continually improve quality, processes and production efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Any form of print press operation experience will be considered as they are easily transferable skills
  • A good eye for detail
  • Used to working to SOPs and quality standards
  • A team worker
  • Good communication skills
