FLEXO PRINT OPERATOR

£28K + Overtime Rates + Pension + Performance & Quality Related Bonus

Hours: Full-Time 42 hours per week (12 hour 3 on/3 off shift system including nights and weekends)

Our client is a manufacturer of printed and converted flexible packaging for decorative high performance applications in a wide variety of consumer goods markets as well as industrial sectors.

They are currently looking to recruit a Flexo Print Operator to join their team.
Ideally, you will have experience of running flexographic presses within a high quality environment printing high definition. Preferably experience with printing 8 colours across various substrates', and you will have a working knowledge of ISO 9001/2000 procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Running multi-colour UV flexo presses
  • Producing high quality packaging with a variety of finishes to customer specification
  • Ensuring that the area, equipment, and machinery are kept clean and tidy
  • Troubleshooting issues with the printing press or print quality
  • Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies relating to your work area are always adhered to
  • Carry out basic machinery checks in accordance with standard operating procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous Flexo Print experience
  • Shift work in a factory or similar environment, including availability for night shifts
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001/2000 procedures
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work consistently to high standards
  • Flexible approach
  • Strong attention to detail
