£Competitive Salary (Depending on Experience) + Overtime

Double Day Shifts: Monday to Friday: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm (Rotating Weekly)

Our client is an independent manufacturer of high end printed folded cartons, a well-established business with a varied product offering working with small, medium and large clients in the in food, drink, gift, alcohol, beverage, cosmetics, leisure and FMCG markets. The company put a strong emphasis on quality, customer service and investing in the latest technology and equipment.

They are currently looking to recruit a Gluing Machine Minder to work in their carton finishing department operating signature folder gluer machines producing 4 and 6 corner cartons

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic with experience of running Folding / Gluing Machines. It is essential that you have good technical expertise in aspects of print finishing with a good mechanical ability.

Key Responsibilities:

• A background in the cartons industry in some form
• Proactive Crew Member
• Working with the team to ensure targets are achieved along with monitoring of efficiencies and quality
• Make ready the machine
• BRC standards are maintained
• All paperwork is completed
• Health and safety procedures are adhered to
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines and handle a wide variety of responsibilities
• Has good attendance and timekeeping

The Candidate will need to show experience in setting up and running of the following types of cartons:

• Same panel tuck in end box
• Reverse tuck in end box
• 4 corner glued trays
• 6 corner glued box
• Pillow packs
• Crash-lock bottom boxes
• Press lock bottom boxes
• Wallets
• Sleeves
• Double walled trays
