We are looking for an experienced Gluing Operative to join the team who wants to develop their skills to successfully work on their assigned machinery, cross train on other machines and take the lead within their speciality. Driving the team forward as the company expand their product offering.

Gluing Operative | Cartons | North Home Counties | Up to £40k

A commercial print and packaging manufacturer which supplies to multiple sectors including agencies, retail companies, cosmetic and horticultural industries. Offering support from an award winning prepress and carton design team, providing fast turnaround production and specialised bespoke products.

As a Gluing Operative, you will be responsible for:

• Setting and running an Bobst Gluing Machine
• Cross training on other machines
• Leading the section when required
• Providing maintenance, ensuring no machinery issues go unnoticed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maximise assigned machinery

Key attributes required:

• Knowledge of carton manufacturing
• Demonstrable experience operating a gluing machine
• Good eye for detail to check product quality
• Drive to produce the best quality cartons
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
