GRADUATE CAD/GRAPHICS DESIGNER - PACKAGING

LANARKSHIRE

£Open + 32 Days Holiday Including Bank Holidays + Pension Scheme

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday - 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday - 8:30am to 2:00pm
(Additional hours are sometimes required to meet business demands)

Our client is a leading corrugated manufacturer, supplying the full range of Corrugated Packaging, HQPP and Litholam in to a variety of markets including food, drink, automotive, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors.

They are currently looking to recruit a Graduate CAD / Graphic Designer to join their existing team.

OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A CANDIDATE WHO HAS GRADUATED THIS YEAR


Responsibilities / Requirements:

• Ideally experience of Artios CAD and 3D design
• Working closely with Account Manager, Production department, Internal Sales and Graphic Designers
• Reporting to the Design Manager
• Sample making
• Cutting Samples
• Construction design
• 3D structural
• Estimating
• Support other departments
• A good understanding of packaging types and development processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills, with an ability to communicate in person and via network systems
• Computer Literate on PC systems
• Passionate about product development and sustainability
• Ability to work as part of a team, where all members 'muck-in and get their hands dirty'
• Enthusiastic and can use their initiative
• Reliable with good organisation skills and excellent time management
• Innovative thinker with ambition to learn and develop new skills
