As Head of Operations, you will be part of the leadership team and be responsible for:

  • Leading operational teams, running production, managing and scheduling projects, ensuring financial targets and other agreed SLA’s are met in all departments
  • Liaise with suppliers for maintenance and upgrades actively seeking opportunities to invest and improve 
  • Reviewing working practices and initiate projects for improving efficiencies
  • Work with the divisional MD to get the site strategically aligned with group initiatives
  • Keeping employees motivated and organising appropriate training

 

 

Key attributes required:

  • Currently operating in a manufacturing/production environment, not necessarily from within print 
  • A leader with gravitas you’ll set the tone for excellence with proven experience in managing high performing production teams in a busy environment
  • Experience in working to budgets/targets, managing production resources and planning plus collaborating with suppliers and building relationships
  • Must speak fluent German and have a good level of English, able to be in Munich on a daily basis 
  • A change manager with an commitment to professional development both personally and for your teams
