We have a fantastic opportunity for a natural leader with a great attitude to become Head of Operations for a company that has established itself as an expert in direct mail, data management, postage solutions, print, storage and distribution. Combined with extensive knowledge, passion and high-end consultancy – our client has it all under one roof.

The overarching purpose of this role is the efficient and effective running of the business, working closely with the Board and Senior Teams. Key to this role is in promoting the brand and reputation towards being the best in the market by enhancing client services levels and productivity to be best in class. The Operations Manager also has overall responsibility for the performance of the Company and must ensure compliance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006.

Under the guidance of the Board, the Head of Operations will work to drive strategies that will result in the company continuing their position as a high growth, profitable and cash generative company leading the way in their chosen markets.

Candidates must have at least 5 years/ experience working in a production environment in print or direct mail, good working knowledge of Lithographic, Digital and Direct Mail machinery capabilities, and a familiarity with postal services and products across DSA and Royal Mail. You will have managed operations in a business with employees in excess of 40 staff and have experience in using Print Management information systems.

Key roles and responsibilities will come under the categories of: Supplier Management & Procurement; Staffing and HR; Production, Productivity & Workflow; H&S;  Site maintenance & Upkeep; Environmental (ISO 14001); Insurance & Covenants; Capital Investment.
