HP DIGITAL MACHINE OPERATOR – POINT OF SALE / DISPLAYS
EAST ANGLIA
£Open DOE + Pension + Shift Allowance + Employer Assist Program + Death in Service
Hours: 3 Day 12 Hour Shift Pattern, 6am – 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for 4 weeks, then changes to 6am – 6pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday for 4 weeks
As part of a larger Packaging Group, our client is a leading UK manufacturer of display / point of sale and aims to be both innovative and creative in the solutions provided whilst offering the most appropriate and effective solutions designed to meet customers’ objectives.
They are now looking to strengthen their team by recruiting for an additional HP Digital Machine Operator.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, HP Machine Operator is responsible for:
• The production of quality finished product delivered through the efficient operation of all relevant equipment
• Machine efficiency
• General maintenance
• Working environment and overall departmental tidiness
• Ensuring all safe systems of work and H&S policies are adhered to.

• Well organised with the ability to plan own workload and constructively assess daily requirements to aid the smooth working of all departments.
• Able to work effectively and calmly under pressure.

• Trained or time served printer / operator on print processes.
• Equipment maintenance

• Task orientated ensuring completion of all assigned tasks diligently and in a timely fashion
Core Responsibilities
• Digital Printing – setting and running
• Equipment maintenance - planned and breakdown
• Quality control – first off and running checks
• Cleaning of equipment and work area
• Collection of shop floor data through the use of Spocs or manual timesheets
• OTIF – on time in full delivery to production schedule
• Maintain all paperwork; check sheets and other records relevant to your areas and responsibility.
• Cross training of other employees
• Willingness to be trained in other operational areas
• Adherence to all Health, Safety & Environmental Policies, BRC certified standards and all appropriate operational procedures
• Working with colleagues and agency workers in a professional and courteous manner.
