INDIGO OPERATOR KENT

DOUBLE DAYS 6am - 1.30pm / 1.30pm to 9pm.

Salary approx. £25K (depending on experience)

Our client is based in the South and is one of the UK's largest printed packaging companies, due to expansion and recent investment in Digital Machinery they are looking to recruit an 1200 Indigo Operator to join their team

The role as an 12000 Indigo Operator will entail the day to day running of the B2 12000 Indigo press. You would be expected to work at a consistently fast pace whilst maintaining a high standard of print quality.

Job Description:

• Sets-up, operates, and maintains the HP Indigo Digital Presses
• Performs routine maintenance
• Performs machine adjustments accurately, efficiently, and according to procedure
• Monitors the printing process to maintain print quality
• Understands machine capabilities so as to achieve optimum print quality
• Conducts tests and inspections to evaluate quality and performance
• Maintains good housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Digital printing background with HP Indigo Level 1 (essential) or Level 2 qualification (an advantage)
• Colour Theory and practice
• Excellent eye for quality and ability to visualise colours and detect colour differences.
