Duties and Responsibilites 

  • Produce pantone and non-pantone colour ink blends from pantone base range
  • Using pantone formula software and x-rite spectro equipment to assist hitting target colours
  • Associated tasks include, cleaning mixing equipment, light weight packing of inks for courier, raising courier paperwork 
  • Maintaining batch samples and records efficiently  
  • adhere to H&S requirements and the ability to work cleanly

Qualifications 

  • Previous experience of working within the production of print environment, either former printing press operator or ink blending experience is desirable but full training can be given 
  • Must be able to speak and write English 
  • Basic qualification in Maths and English is preferred 
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel

Working Hours 

Part time or Full time applicants considered

Physical Requirements 

Ability to identify/quantify colours.  Physical job requiring manual handling, which includes lifting and working with light machinery (mixing equipment) 

Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of themselves or others.
