About the job

Starting Salary: £23K (£30K OTE) + Benefits Package (below)

Our client based in Cheshire are looking to create a brand new team of Internal Account Managers and as such are looking for people with a desire to develop relationships with customers to increase Sales within the existing customer base.

Working as an Internal Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer accounts. You will be the main point of contact for customers and will communicate effectively and regularly to build solid relationships and be their ‘go to’ person.

The right person for the role

Believe it or not, you do not have to have previous sales experience (although it would be an advantage); they only have a few (but very important) essential requirements. They need someone who:

  • Enjoys talking to people and building rapport (and is good at doing this over the phone/via teams or zoom call).
  • Has a passion for (or a strong desire to get into) SALES!
  • Is keen to learn and is open to change
  • Has solid computer literacy and the ability to use a CRM system to collect, update and use data efficiently
  • Has a positive, can-do attitude
  • Is organised with great time management.

Just to assure you, this is NOT a call centre-type role where you are tasked with how many random phone calls you can make in a minute – they are not about that AT ALL! The client wants people who will genuinely care about the needs of our customers and what they are trying to achieve as a business. If you have little to no experience, they will give you the skills that you will need to be successful at selling (which in turn leads to sales for the business, and commission for you!)

The Package:

  • ongoing sales development
  • These are full-time positions at 37.5 hours per week (typically Mon – Fri 8-4).
  • Holidays – 25 Days per year (increasing with length of service up to 28 days)
  • Cash Plan Health scheme after 6 months (highest level).
  • Occupational Sick pay (and pay for other types of personal situations).
  • Death in service benefit.
  • Service awards vouchers.
  • Free onsite parking.
  • Casual Dress
