INTERNAL SALES CO-ORDINATOR

WEST MIDLANDS

FULL TIME PERMENANT POSITION - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Up to £35K + 23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Our client is an award-winning supplier of gift, ecommerce and retail packaging, working with a range of customers - from well-known international brands through to start up and growth businesses.

They work across a range of sectors including beauty, drinks, food and giftware, offering off the shelf boxes via a successful ecommerce platform, as well as printed and bespoke packaging.

Our client is looking for an experienced and professional candidate with knowledge of the packaging industry. Ideally having worked in a sales environment, the successful candidate will join a team of sales professionals who work closely with customers to recommend, scope and deliver excellent packaging solutions.

Our client has an excellent reputation in the industry and are committed to staff training as well as continuous improvement across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Working within a team of sales advisors
  • Acting as a first point of contact for customers, via telephone, Livechat and email enquiries
  • Advising customers on the best packaging solutions for their needs
  • Generating quotes and processing orders
  • Building your own portfolio of clients, looking after customers from first point of contact, through to ordering and delivery
  • Working with the Sales Director and Business Development Manager to deliver quotations and providing project updates for clients
  • Liaising with suppliers to secure pricing, leadtimes and timely fulfilment
  • Keeping customer and project records accurate and up to date


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of a range of packaging materials, constructions and print processes
  • Experience of working with SAP or equivalent databases
  • Experience with online sales & Livechat is desirable
  • Excellent telephone manner & a customer focussed approach; ability to build strong working relationships with clients
  • Great organisational skills, ability to prioritise and use initiative
  • Good team-work skills, with a willingness to help out other team members as required
  • Great attention to detail to ensure accurate processing and managing of all customer requirements
  • A desire to learn, grow in their role and build their range of skills
